The hotel's location is fantastic - right at the start of Nevsky Prospekt, the main street which is always lively and well-lit. You can easily walk to all the major sights from here. The rooms are amazing, with all the facilities you need, including a tea set, gown, and slippers. I stayed in a room called Dostoevsky, which had a beautiful view overlooking Nevsky Prospekt. The staff were incredibly attentive and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday while I was out exploring. Additionally, the breakfast was delivered to the room and it was lovely to have it brought straight to your door. All of these amenities at such a great value for money make this hotel a top choice.

The rooms are comfortable and uniquely designed, each with its own story to tell. The hotel is situated on the 4th floor of an old building, adding to its charm. Despite the quirky entrance, everything inside has been beautifully refurbished. The staff are friendly and the Winter Palace and Hermitage are just a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended if you don't mind the stairs!

Best location and walking distance to the tourist attractions was great. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel that was convenient. the bathroom design was cool, and the beds were very comfortable.

The elevator was a nightmare, it was small, old, and not recommended to use. There were some unfinished renovations in the room, and the paint odor was overwhelming.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the main street-Nevskiy Prospekt. The attention to detail in the interiors was incredible, with each room named after Russian writers and composers. I stayed in the Gogol room and it was beautifully decorated. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
